You may cancel within the period stated on your contract (please note: this period varies depending on each location, so please check your contract). If you paid a deposit or any rental fees for your booking and you are able to cancel under the terms of your contract, these will be refunded to you. You will lose your right to cancel your booking when you collect the keys for your room, even if this is within the period stated in your contract.  This policy is subject to contractual changes. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and resell your room in any of the following circumstances: You fail to collect your key within 14 calendar days of the date you are able to occupy your room from. The first rent instalment is due prior to the booking start date, and it is not received as cleared funds within seven days of the due date. You remain liable for all amounts due under the agreement until the room is sold and any rental amounts between bookings, which we may deduct from any deposit we hold. If, after the commencement of your booking, you would like to be released from the agreement, and a suitable replacement (in our absolute discretion) is found, we will release you from the agreement from the date the replacement agreement takes effect from. You will remain responsible for any rental arrears outstanding up to this date. Your deposit will be refunded subject to any deductions for damage, cleaning, or rent. If, after the commencement of your booking, you would like to be released from the agreement, and a suitable replacement (in our absolute discretion) is not found, we reserve the right to retain the deposit. You will remain liable for the full rent and other charges detailed in your agreement until the date your contract ends. All cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing contact@campuslivingvillages.co.uk or sent directly to your village reception team. These terms are for direct bookings only and some agreements may differ. The full terms and conditions of your booking can be found in your agreement, which you can access on the accounts page on the CLV App or on the resident portal.
