Once a housing agreement is signed, each resident of Alighttempe must secure their financial obligations in one of three ways: by providing a qualified guarantor (usually a parent); by prepaying the final 1½ installments; or by purchasing from the apartment's partner Leap Third Party Guarantee. In limited circumstances, condominiums are also exempt from the financial security requirement if the resident has sufficient income.

Each resident signs an individual contract for their own bedroom space. This normally means you are responsible for your own installment rather than a roommate's payment if another bedroom becomes vacant.
